This album consists of brilliant Americana Folk/Rock songs rooted with themes of drug addiction, nuclear weapons, gunfights, and straight talk. The artist behind this album, Tom Melancon, creates an album that has elements of acoustic guitar, laid back vocals, and strong reflective lyrics. Opening up the album, "Diane," has solid vocals and an edgy guitar which captures the essence of this catchy melody. Another song, "Fallen Down," grooves with acoustic guitar that sweetly cascades around the charming lyrical vocals. The title track, "Gun," is an expressive song with memorable lyrics that Melancon sings with passionate intonation.
